I am looking into live streaming from supersport.

I wanted to know if anyone has tried this using local only bandwidth to stream from supersport?

Secondly, which would be the best ISP to buy the local bandwidth from?

Thanks

Hopefully if it stops to buffer it will it will not be regarded as a disconnect.

I'm pretty sure hereticangel is meaning the router not disconnecting, doesn't matter what is happening on your browser/streaming. I have tried the streaming on 384kbps and kinda worked, but buffered a tad too often, on 512+ should be OK. Guess also depends on the ISP a bit.

Well then it should be ok(hopefully). I got a 4mb line.

Well R50 is not too much to risk in any case.

It would have been cool if SS didn't require one to have a premium account before you could stream from them .....

If they didn't DSTV subscriber numbers would drop like a rock. SS is the only thing on DSTV that one *can't* get freely on the web.

Watching the Bulls v Lions match now on Justintv ...... loving the fact that DSTV is no more :D

I have compact and can stream from SS. You just need a dstv account, doesn't matter which it seems.

States clearly that only Premium subscribers can access it, hmmm.

Also have no idea how much a match takes up ... I have uncapped.

which sites is the best for streaming rugby and soccer where you can set the quality yourself to prevent buffering, if you on 384k speeds.
it does not matter on what package you are on dstv for streaming.

384k streamed rugby is going to be painful regardless of quality setting.

Which page are you looking at?

The premium is only for the dstv on demand I think.

Does anyone know how I can watch super rugby live from overseas ? Seems like supersport only supports streaming locally? I have a premium dstv account.
