Wait what? We not gonna see the Euros here?
Only the qualifiers, starsat won the rights to that. The mybb mob are always calling for more competition, aren't they?
SS have the rights to Euro 2016 though afaik.
First they failed to secure rights for the Euro's
Well to me more competition would mean that 2 companies show the Euros so that I'd have a choice. This just means that if I want to watch the qualifiers I'd need 2 services. Which doesn't help me at all
I don't have DSTV, but if SS hasn't secured the Euros they're taking the pss.
They have secured Euro2016.
The lost it a long time ago already - round about the time they stopped showing the Supersport Series cricket, believe it or not.
They still don't show it now - called the Sunfoil series, of course - but they show the Kenyan premier league soccer, and Nigerian basketball league.

Supersport isn't just broadcast in SA.
But it is broadcast in SA. Showing our local sport is really non-negotiable, above any foreign sport.
It's not a case of either-or. You make it sound as though they've chosen to replace the cricket with Kenyan football and Nigerian basketball.
Well, basically they have.

One cannot really argue against First Class cricket (cricket being one of our ''Big Three'' sports) not receiving any coverage locally while an obscure football league does.
