Hi

Read the game review in a mag and they scored it 9 out of 10. Before I purchase I'd like to know if anyone has played it and what are your views?

Highly overrated, but not too bad.

I personally think the graphics aren't the greatest in this game :) but your probably more woried about gameplay.

well it is fun, and has a few new concepts, but i don't know, it just didn't hold my interest and attention, i haven't played for a week now, and only played it for like 5 hours total, soh well :)

But it seems hectic strategy people take to it, but i think those are the die hards :)

i like it .... would probably play more , if not for WoW :)

A heavily strategic game,

It gets boring quite quickly though, and it takes really long to get into a decent game.

Otherwise, not too bad ;)

Awesome game, because i really enjoy the whole strategic element.
Definitely a multiplayer game though, the single player is just average, but when you start playing online its a whole different story, one of the best mp games i've ever played. There are a bunch of us that organize games on #supcomgames on shadowfire irc, come join the fun :)

Ah, this reminds me of the good old days playing total annihilation.

There's nothing quite like playing on a pentium 133 at 3 spf (seconds per frame ;) )

I _love_ strategy games so I am really looking forward to get this came. Am currently playing the Eldar on Warhammer Dark Crusade, and I cant wait for something more interesting.

Boring. I stopped playing the game a few days after I started it - and nothing in it has pulled me back to it yet. It just doesn't grab and hold me. Time for the real thing ... C&C.

Consider Supreme Commander the Simulator of RTS games, if you like vast battles and have no issues with time then its the winner.

For quick slap & dash C&C 3 could be the king seeing the demo was quite good as it went back to the original C&C 1 roots and not the Generals crap.

So far i agree with most of the comments that say it is a bit overrated. I was also very keen on it, bought it, and played for about a day or 2 and haven't really played it in a week now..

Some nice ideas, but i was always more of a C&C fan than TA, so i think that could be the reason why i don't like it that much..

Cool game - vast battles make it interesting. The game is a system hog on the big levels and lots of units - but apart from that its good rts experience.

I am still waiting for this game to impress me. Dunno why it got such a high score. the graphics are crappy, I would rather reinstall company of heroes and play that again, check that I would rather install c&c 1. Hmmmmmm

This couldn't be more correct.... Don't even think of starting a game unless you have a lot of time on your hands.... I also agree that this game has been over-hyped, but if you look at it as a "war simulator" more than a game it makes more sense.

Bought it the other day. It owns my PC 6/love!
But its fun, to bad about the camera angles. Was looking forward to some freedom, not just stupid up down up down!
