I bought sushi a few weeks ago after not having it for years.

Let's just say I gave 90% to the cat who just sniffed at it. I then realised why I haven't had it in so long

Aah that explains it. If you don't like most other seafood then you won't like Sushi.

I try it every so often, give it a chance. Never really caught on with me. It's not terrible, just not a great meal for me.

Tried it at a couple places - think the place is called Yum Yum in Monte, various random places in malls, that fancy restaurant in waterfall, starts with a B, Bukara?
Got a mate that admits to eating it 'cos it's the cool thing to do.

most soya sauces have alcohol in them so i havnt had good sushi in a while

Active sushi has been my haunt for the past few year's. Absolutely love their sushi buffet (which includes fresh fried tempura prawns )

It's getting tougher to work into budget though.... Haven't been in 2 months

my favourite place to eat is at YUME BAR in Monte Casino... plus they have a wide variety of other things, like dumplings(dimsum), and you can create you own dish... their desserts ae not so bad either...

another nice place i like is Cape Town Fish Market, thats where i first tried sushi and it was great... although i am a fan of mostly the vegetarian sushi...
