MTN has suspended my account. I signed a debit order for my contract and they have not deducted any money for the past month from my account and now they have suspended me. There is sufficient money in my bank.
I can't phone them as my cell says "service suspended"
Who do I contact now?

you should still be able to dial 808 from your cell number when a suspension occurs. alternatively pm me il check up on it for you.
 
Phoned 808 and got sorted.
Problem is, no money was deducted for the first half month and this was carried over to this month. Then the unbilled amount from 21 to 30 was over my limit. Seems like MTN does not take into consideration the abnormally high first bill as this includes connection fee plus the portion of the previous month plus the billed amount plus the unbilled amount. This will always exeed your limit.

By the way, if they are going to charge me reconnection fee of R170.00 I will kick up such a fuss as because I never got sms for 'you are near your bundle max" or "you are near your account max" as they say they do. I wonder if anybody gets these warnings.

Only time they charge a levy (R75.00) is when there i a full suspension on ure line for non payment.
