Hi guys,
anybody have similar experience, or have advice to remedy the prob?
I have just recently built up a new pc, was time to upgrade, so I always just build complete nu system.
All my 'old' games still work fine, but me having trouble with Star Wars Battlefront 2. It keeps bombing out on me. (original game,... now that prices coming down, we can afford to buy the 'real' thing
)
It worked fine on old AMD XP2400, and on AMD64 3000, but now on nu AMD64 x2 5600 (WinXP sp2, GF6800, latest drivers & updates) it bombs out... just kicks out to Windows)
The **** is, that it is not consistent.... sumtimes it will load up nicely, and I can play a level, as soon as next level loads, it kicks out completely to windows, other times won't even fully load up to the main menu.
So I can't figure out where the prob is.... graphix drivers, DX, somthin else?
I can't think its graphix or DirectX, as its fine during playing a level, it seems to kick out during a loading sequence, menu or next level.
Only thing different on this pc to the older rigs, is the CPU & graphics card.... Any ideas???
