The refugee crisis is perpetuated by the fact that none of the Arab states are prepared to let Palestinians integrate into their societies and the fact that the Palestinians are the only people in history that refugee status is passed onto the next generation, so that the original 700,000 odd refugees number now in the millions.

Jews went through something similar in parts of Western Europe too.

Seven EU members in eastern European and the Mediterranean have already recognised a Palestinian state -- Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Malta, Poland and Romania. Non-EU member Iceland is the only other western European nation to have done so.
