Sweden school attack: police treat killing of pupil and teacher as racist hate crime

The suspect in the double murder in a school in Sweden on Thursday picked out his victims by their skin colour, according to video evidence seen by police.

“He chose dark skinned people, not white. We are convinced it was a hate crime with a racist perspective,” said Niclas Hallgren, the chief of police in Trollhättan.

“He was dressed in a way that suggested a racist background [and] video at the scene showed he acted in a military fashion. His actions and the way he looked draws the mind to the Nazis,” Hallgren told journalists.

Like gun control is going to solve anything. You are also aware of the examples of countries with strict gun control where it makes no difference and those with relaxed control with less incidence.

If in the US this would have been a massacre of note. The lack of gun control does matter.

Like in Norway where thanks to their lax gun laws 77 people lost their lives at the hands of Anders Behring Breivik.

Well, what is the likelihood of being shot in Norway as opposed to the US? It's not that hard to figure this out, you know

Let me ask you, how many people would this guy have been able to kill if he had a gun?

You don't know. That only two people died and two were injured until police shot him tells me he wasn't in any hurry.

It isn't difficult to figure out. Maybe the feckers kept running away from the weapon. A natural occurrence when people are threatened in that manner.

Here, from the article:
A teacher came out and asked the man what he was doing, the girl said.

"You're scaring the children, you can go," the teacher said.

The man just nodded then stabbed the teacher in the side with his knife, Sara said.

She and her friends ran. The man chased them but they managed to escape.

Did you even read it? Or just commenting on what you imagined happened?

Not so easy if the weapon fired projectiles. Now i know you can dodge bullets like a champ....but noone else can.
