Sweet Potato Diet ?

Disclaimer: I exercise 4 to 5 times a week, including cardio and resistance training, so I am not asking this as a lazy person who wants a quick fix :)

Any of you ever heard of the Sweet Potato Diet ?

Apparently you eat it for two weeks, just sweet potatoes, and it sucks all the water and the fat out of your body.

Am curious.
 
Sounds a bit like a Sweet Snake oil to me.
 
sweet potatos are awesome, and they are loaded with vitamins
 
They're very nice!

Unfortunately I could not get any info as to how the sweet potatoes are s'posed to be prepared during this 2 week diet. Probaby just steamed, I guess.

Surely you could prepare them in any manner, provided all you eat is sweet potatoes?
 
Apparently they cure Aids, dunno bout the weight loss thing?
 
I remember back in the day with the weight watchers points system it counted as 0 points, just like a lot of other veggies.
 
Why would you want to do that to yourself ? Sweet Potatoes are a low GI carb....... without a healthy balanced diet you just screwing yourself.

If you going to eat carbs for 2 weeks straight I hope you have a marathon to run.
 
Sweat potatoes. Cube, rub with olive oil place in pan sprinkle liberally with soy sauce, honey, salt/pepper and 2 cinnamon sticks . Roast to taste. hmmmm Yummy....

That sounds good. Olive oil is fattening though, so I guess it should be kept to a minimum.
