Swelling battery ?

Plenty of forums mention free replacement by Apple. Here in SA they just looked at me and gawked !!!!

They didn't look at me and gawk - they said, oh so sorry, you're a month out of warranty- please sell one of your kidneys to replace the battery.

I balked at that and got a replacement from www.partstore.co.za - colour is somewhat off but it does the job - cost me R770 in March last year.
