Switch ISP but keep email?

a wile back i changed isp and mweb cancelled my asdl part and only charged me for my email @ 30buks a month, dont know if they stil do it...?

Get RID of the mweb email address as soon as you possibly can. Business with an @mweb email address is like trying to use crayons for your daily work.

Drop your mweb account to email only (R39pm odd), Create your new domain, forward your @mweb address for a further year, done, nothing further required.

There's no excuse these days for a business to be running of an ISPs domain - you wouldn't borrow their letterhead for correspondence would you?

Get a host and your own domain, teach people to use it instead of the mweb one, and then cancel it. :)

We have an mweb email address that we need to keep for work, but mweb adsl is crazy expensive and hard capped. Is there any way to pay less and keep the adress, while having adsl access more cheaply from another ISP?

Ja, those are your options...

1) keep the address only portion... I think it is R30 or R70 a month. Not worth it in my opinion.
2) Get a webmail address like gmail that you will keep for good no matter which ISP you use. Gmail has excellent Spam filters, pop3 forwarding, and lots of other features (plus you can dress up gmail to look like any other address).
3) Buy your own domain and host it somewhere in South Africa for cheap. That way you get your company domain as your e-mail address.

but just by the way... when you say M-web is hard capped... you should still be able to download your e-mail since they give unlimited free local only access. You should be able to download your e-mail all month.
