So I've discovered I can make a little company wide Wiki and decided to help some of the back office guys understand basic terms.

I've got the below topics, but wondering if there is anything else I may have missed or something that should be known ?

Difference between PoE vs PoE+
Why choose one over the other?
What is a power injector?
What is a switch power budget?

I'm thinking of doing wireless after this - standards and speeds, as well as controller vs standalone vs mesh

How technical is your audience?

VLANs (Tagged and UnTagged ports), Trunk ports, max power per port, how to check current usage, 802.1x /Auth, port speed?

Subnetting is the most challenging part of networking for these people.
The all other things are dependent on the equipment they use.

Thinking even more basic - maybe a simple diagram to see where each device fits to start?

Hiring a consultant with some teaching experience will pay off the best, trust me.

Did that inhouse yonks ago, was fun. We had enough spare kit to make it a hands on course, people are much more engaged and grasp things a lot a lot quicker. Staff really enjoyed it which says a lot.
