Switch Owners - Is it worth it?

I couldn’t get into BotW as much as I wanted to. The breaking weapons just didn’t do it for me

Absolutely. It's a full blown console and portable. Zelda Breath of the Wild is something that will keep you engaged for ages too...

Bear in mind that with switch lite you can't connect a monitor or disconnect the joypads for split screen.
I second that, the convenience of being able to play full console games anywhere you want is pretty sweet. You can also get skyrim on it now which can keep you going for 100s of hours.

I've heard mixed reviews about Skyrim but mostly when it was new. How would you rate it and what would you compare it to?
Imagine a medieval version of fallout. I'd give it a 10 out 10. I suppose it could be one of those games where you either love it or hate it. The ps3 and xbox 360 versions were quite bad so that did give it a bit of a negative review from anyone who tried to play it on that platform. Bare in mind that it is a very old game so if you trying it out for the first time now, the game does show it's age. Other than that it's awesome.

Then you bailed too soon. The sword that seals the darkness solves that... And of course you can get so many weapons when you open up new slots. But I'm sure it's not everyone's cup of tea.

If anything I run out of shields. Maybe I just suck at combat and not getting out the way often enough.

Loving BOTW. Have played 65 hours so far and tons to do still

The smart money’s on BOTW2 launching in the Christmas holidays

I'm a little apprehensive about it - I believe it's going to be dark like Majora's Mask... not sure how I feel about that. BOTW had the best world of any Zelda game by a long shot.

I hope it is, Majora’s Mask was a phenomenal game.
