hi all

I recently signed with Afrihost and am very happy. Price is reasonable and service/speeds very good.

However I would like to use them on a day to day basis and also sign up with digichill uncapped for some heavy downloads I need to do, which I can do while im sleeping and speed is not a major concern...

how easy and how do I switch between accounts? Is this done by the router settings?

thanks!

very easy- go into configure ATM virtual circuits on your router settings- add the 2 accounts- (my siemens router has space for 8 different accounts)- all you need to do then is click enable on the one you want to use.....

I'd be very wary/skeptical of joining DigiChilli. Read the following thread - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?209406-DigiChilli-January-Status-and-feedback and then make a decision. Read the last 10-15 pages to get a good idea of the status of the DigiChilli network. Other options to consider for Uncapped include SAINET, SAOL, Axxess, etc.

Depends on the router you have. I have 2 Netgear ADSL routers, and neither of them allows for configuring mutliple accounts. If I want to change accounts, I have to enter the username and password manually each time. To the OP - what ADSL modem/router do you have? Make and model?

you can either change ithe usename in the router settings, or make pppoe dial up style connections, and just log into either one from windows. i prefer the pppoe connections cause i have multiple computers on the netowork that can use thier own connection.
