Swopping a decoder

I want to test a old decoder, I got a old dual viewdecoder. Can I ssimply swop the Simccard, or do I need to sms that dstv number.

You will need to link the smart card to the new decoder. It is fairly simple by calling the DStv helpdesk.

Agreed, I tried calling them the other day and no matter what I tried I could not get through to a human! All automated and self service bs.
