Symantec antivirus source code hacked

Symantec is crap anyways. How surprising wouldn't it be when we finally learn that they themselves (and others) are part of those who feed the stream of malware and viruses. *acts surprised*

Tough fail title is fail title
Symantec antivirus source code hacked
One can't hack source code, it's already "exposed" as that is wtf the source code is. It's your uncompiled version, it's the version that you use to update, debug and so on. Same as saying that you have "hacked" the lecturers notes. :erm:

I think the title is referring to the process as by which the source code was acquired as "hacking", not the code itself.

Maybe they can get the community to help make their software not suck.

Their latest version isn't that bad, I think it is the best they have ever developed.
Though as a Kaspersky corporate edition user, I can testify that since we changed to it on our campus in 2008, we have had zero problems with our staff computers (used to use Trend Micro OfficeScan).
