i don't think this is possible. You'll have to setup the email account on both macbook and touch for you to get email on both devices

Ok, so you plug in your iPod Touch, and go to the info tab and check the box to "Sync selected Mail Accounts".
Once the sync is complete all the connection details of your mail accounts will be transferred.
Now all you have to do launch Mobile Mail while connected via wifi and your Touch will download your mail.
Just make sure that you are using IMAP accounts or if using POP make sure that you uncheck the "Remove message from server after retrieving message" option in the advanced tab of your Mail account preferences.

As long as you are connected to the net via wifi you will have access to your mail.

MMM i dont seem to have that option under my info tab. Running iTunes 7.6.1 and 1.14 on iPod Touch. Under the info tab i have : Contacts, Calendars, Web Browser and Advanced. Dont see any email options. Any suggestions ?

So I assume you didn't purchase the apps?

Sorry i wanted to but since apple dont allow me to open a itunes account in SA, no

That probably why you don't have the option in iTunes as a believe the official patch updates something on iTunes as well as the iPod.

Its not technically necessary for you to use iTunes to have your mail in sync though. Just setup your mail account on your iPod and Mac to use IMAP.
