Hello

i'm with vodafone Egypt and those people are using interleaved path
there is no way the technical support will alter it for me.(which it sucks)
i need to test/know if there is a working router/modem will let choose this path ( Fast Path ) instead of asking my stupid
ISP technical support.?

I doubt any router will let you manipulate your isp's routing.

Time to switch ISP.

i have another line from different ISP. I tried to make them change it and they refused , cause they don't have option to do it.

moving to Europe might solve it perhaps.

Lol yeah maybe. :D

Here in South Africa the only adsl provider Telkom only uses Fast Path but there are some cases where Telkom's new line management system changes the line to Interleave when it syncs at a high speed with low SNR value. They also refuse to change it if it happens.....

Interleave only means +-30ms local latency which is not bad but still sucks....

I had a 10mbps line with afrihost witch i asked them to put me on fastpath. Couple days later done. Only a few months later im back on interleaving. I asked them to put it back on fast path. But they just dont seem to know what i am talking about. I did read one of your previous posts. Where you sead downgrading will maybe solve the problem. So i downgraded from 10 to 8 mbps with a snr of 18db. But still no luck. Just wished i knew what to do

It's not AH fault, but Telkoms New system that is switching you back to Interleaved

All Telkom,s xDSL line performance are now managed by a system called ASSIA. This system only apply interleaved profiles during it's so called stabilization process.
