SynthaSite gets another USD 20million

Well done to Vinny and Brent - a real success story so far!

I'm a bit lazy to ask Synthasite, but asked my hosting company already. If my domain points to my Synthasite in an A record. Does that mean I can't access my domain control panel as I used to?

My hosting company says I'd only be able to access my Synthasite :p

You can make you www part of the site point to synthasite and still control your email, providing the isp you have it now allows you to do this, if not, talk to me and I will be able to help. Obviously you would need to make 100% sure that synthasite allows the mx records to be elsewhere too, that is not in my control :-)

WD for a local company to make that kind of progress so quickly

Thanks.

I really commend Synthasite and their team for the progress and initiative they have taken.

The thing that irks me about the service (yeah I didn't read the T.O.S) is that the 3 links placed on the pages you create at the bottom are not allowed to be removed.

To be honest. I won't even pay to have it removed, as I see the development team has had that idea before.

If someone gives me something for free, I expect that much, a free service. I would use my own resources and my own initiative to create a specific part on each site I create to give Synthasite the exposure they need. A sort of "about" page on how I created the site.

I just think it's a bit unfair and I believe word of mouth is the best marketing tool out there and Synthasite has lost my word :p

Sorry, but I'm honest.

ah yes, the something-for-nothing rule :p

Not for nothing.

If their service and product is as good as they present it to be. I would definitely go out of my way to make sure that people I know, know about it.

Having a mandatory link on the pages I create is not something that appeals to me, in any shape or form. Since it deviates from my creation I'm trying to create.

I'm a modern man. I'd rather do the hard work and use my basic skill set and R1000 WYSIWYG web design app and create a site I know I can be proud of and mention whatever company I please, than to create it freely online, probably easier and with less hassle, but have a mandatory label to my project.

Get with the times, cause they're a moving...
