Yeah, maybe it'll give us more info...

BTW - is your game up to date? Know there were quite a few fixes for graphics card problems before.

yeah the game automatically updated itself.

Sorry i just need more info on how to upload those file :)

I myself haven't uploaded files, only images. Don't know if its possible. Can't you maybe just copy and paste the contents of the dump files?

Did a quick Google search, do you maybe have Gigabyte Dynamic Energy Saver installed? Or maybe try disabling the Anti-Virus for a little while to test?

you have just told be to disable the anti virus... weird coz i just read somewhere that somebodys anti virus was causing the problems, but i will still copy the files here.

I have had problems with the AV interfering with a game, can't remember what though.

I'm having problems with my GTA IV as well, have the same graphics card as you do. Game would just slows down and kills the whole computer, then I have to reboot.

my previous computer with windows xp and an intel pentium 4 didnt crash the computer but the graphics were just rubbish.

Im having a bit of a problem with the dmp files, cant open them... dont know what to do, i will give the anti virus a go first

Just thinking now. Are you sure that it does automatically update? Mine never updates itself, but the Rockstar Social Club did. I had to go download the updates myself. Unless maybe you are using the Steam version?

no im using the normal retail version, it always comes up with a message "an update is available, install now?"

i can defianatly say that AVG wasnt causing the problem, should i start looking at the graphics card? I do have the option of getting a new one...

okay so i dug a bit deeper into my computer and i found an error by the name of LiveKernelEvent,

do any of you know what this is all about?

Thanks
