This one is for the sysops.

I'm a little bit used to dealing with 1 large customer at a time but this seems to be going to change in the near future. I was wondering about using system center in order to maintain multiple different domains.

I know how to set up the trusts but is concerned about the legality around using a single Microsoft license for system center to monitor, roll out software and generate reports over let's assume 5 different domains?

With system centre, you license the endpoints, domains are never mentioned in licensing - a company can run as many domains as they want.

Need more details please:
By your wording, I think you mean 5 companies when you mention 5 domains?
What are you targeting? Servers or workstations or both? If server environment, are you looking at licensing up a physical host with servers from different companies?

Yes this will be 4 different companies which one of them operates 2 domains in their forest.

The scale is medium business so we would be targeting both servers and workstations.

We're looking at creating a single point of support using IBCM and to my understanding certain features such as software deployment is not supported. Which in a way is not that big of an issue since many of the client side applications can be either installed remotely or as a task from their own deployment servers such as bit defender and such like.
