So this is a basic thread I thought of.

If there is any specific tech concern, serious vulnerability (and possible fixes) please post it in this thread.
This is all info regarding major changes and possible problems on any platform.

Best to stay on top of things than wait for it to become a problem.

Here's my example:
A Windows update by Microsoft for Windows 10 systems and those that use Virtual Machines.
Microsoft has released the update as: https://support.microsoft.com/en-za/help/4571756/windows-10-update-kb4571756
If you have any trouble with RemoteFX vGPU, and Windows 10, after applying the update, please view the KB article above.

Cheers :)

This is a nice idea but there are just too many vulnerabilities across too many platforms I think to continuously post here and not have it be a mess.
Can try though
but usually I just use Vulnerability databases and subscribe to specific feeds which are pertinent to vendors I work on

That's obvious yes. The issue is not to list every single exploit and problem and update. The goal is to have people mention something within their day to day Administration duties that could benefit one another. It's like Spiceworks forum condensed in 1 thread.

With load shedding and electricity prices, do you implement power saving on your managed user systems?
There's some money to be saved in terms of power costs.
I'd be happy to hear opinions :)
