Tablet PCs find a niche

Touch-screen tablet PCs may not be mainstream but they fill a niche in the market

Cost-wise a tablet does not make sense. I saw some low-end tablets selling on ebay, but I have never saw anything low-end here in SA

Obviously, Bill Gates was wrong about his prediction on the success of Tablet PCs but they have been quite successful among some professionals.

Unless things have changed drastically, the processing power of a Tablet will never reach that of a laptop/desktop. They look pretty, upper management love to take them into meetings and input data directly to a computer without having their secretary take minutes, type them up, then e-mail them, however, the average user is realistically not going to purchase one.
