I've got an old Alcatel T10 that still works perfectly, but the power adapter pin is giving issues, and I can't find a replacement.

Is there a way of converting this to USB power.

I want to give it to my son to play with.

From your description it's not really clear where the issue is. Replace the charger or take the tablet to one of those pakistani cell repair shops and ask them to replace the powerjack on the tablet.

Honestly it's not worth, tablet was released in 2013, the specs are dismal, 7 inch tablets can be had at hificorp for as little as R600.00 repair shop going to charge R250.00 at least.

For the price it ain't half bad, especially for a kid.

@ponder. Tablet is 100%. Charger for it is unique and can't be obtained. Uses a very specific size pin, not USB.

I guess I just wanted to tinker with it. I just picked up one from hifi.

I have yet to find a connector you cannot buy, they got it from another manufacturer. There's always a solution to a problem.
