so want to check maybe there is something I need to still do here, as its really odd, makes no sense.
this is my Personal Lappie, dont use it all that much, but when I want to use it it refuses to turn on, (POST)
no lights, hold the power button to do a battery drain does nothing, plugging in the AC adapter (90W large pin) , plugging it in to a Docking station,
unplugging/re-plugging battery, literally acts like a brick,
but took it in to a repair place, and even they couldn't figure out whats wrong with it, did manage to get it to turn on, ran diagnostics, switched it on and off a few times, all went well, but then about 3 or 4 days later, same issue, went back, again, got it to turn on like nothing happened, worked perfectly for 3 or 4 days,
then again, wont turn on,
they cant understand it, neither can I,
Googling the problem, leads me to motherboard issue, daughter-board issue battery issue, and a whole bunch of other things that make no sense, and its really intermittent, as I type this, earlier it turned on, but no display, but did have lights, but eventually turned off,
now push the power button, nothing, before I take the back panel off and try again, unplug/replug and try battery drain with/without power, with docking station/with ac adapter to see if I can revive it,
wanted to ask what to try next? worth taking to a board level place, or somebody really specializing in these compact Dell Lappies
