Tablet price decrease predicted for 2012

On the android side i have no idea, but we still remain competitive with the ipad!
 
So with FNB's offer you actually pay less than somebody in the US?

And pay it off over 2 years?

Still hoping FNB consider launching a Samsung tablet. Good news though about the pricing. Certainly hope prices do become more affordable.

Prices definitly went up, I remember a few months back the Archos 101 16GB (not the new one) was priced at R1999 and now its over R3000.
 
Every time they announced an international price drop ours go up.

Still waiting to see the PS3 price drop or 360 price drop that occurred a few months back.
 
Yip, prices in SA will always be higher,

we're just not a big enough market to really be able to influence manufacturer pricing.
