Dont want a 10 inch tab, but something around the 8 inch mark. Not interested in a Samsung or iPad Mini. I want something different for a change. Are there anything different worth looking at right now thats decent? Budget is around R5000

Mine and Orange is WiFi only - not sure if there is a 3G version

Maybe try the Asus FonePad 7" ? Really decent hardware for only around R2500. Alternatively you can take a look at one of the Lenovo Tablets or the Nexus 7 2013
