Hey all,

Does anyone know if any reasonably newish (+-2 years) RPG's have similar tactical view gameplay options like Dragon Age Origins and the upcoming DA-Inquisition. Im talking about where you are essentially able to pause while in battle and specify what your character/s should do when you un-pause.

Thanks.

On the topic of shadowrun, doesn't all the text get a bit tedious? I backed it, but looks a bit boring.

I'm busy enjoying Transistor though. A lot more action that what the OP probably wants though.

I enjoy all the text. It sinks lots of time which is why I'm playing it.

@OP if you enjoy Shadowrun or the older fallouts, try the big daddy of RPGs, Baldur's Gate.

not exactly in the 2+ category but icewind dale 1+2 and baldurs gate 1+2, never winter nights 2 is also great great

Thanks for the replies. Yes i've played the baldur's gates which were great in their day. I think I may give Divinity Original Sin a try. That should keep me going until Dragon Age.

So far I haven't been able to find anywhere that sells it locally. From what i've read the download on steam is about 9GB,...so im not going to even bother trying. Can't seem to find it online at btgames, takealot, incredible connection. hmmm

Why not just get it on Steam?

With 2/4Meg ADSL should be done overnight.

Xcom Enemy Unknown with the Enemy Within expansion with Long War mod. There will be crying, gnashing of teeth, shouts for victory and ultimately your death!

The mod makes the game a master piece. Give it a look.
