A national disaster yes.No, majority of South Africans where not being served by Eskom before 94. It is only under the ANC that it truly became a national SOE.
Wow, I had 4 paragraphs on the go trying to course-correct your ignorant, entitled remark and give you a little perspective... one PDI to what I assume is another, let peace rather prevail.SA corporate sector not transformed, it's no joke. Almost 3 decades since the abolition of Apartheid, we can do better.
Reminds me of the movie RockstarKim is a guy.

You do realize that manager/CEO position is dominated by 50+ usually, so you would not have seen that much transformation before now for very large companies (20yo in 1990 is 50yo now). Over the next 10/15 years you will see way more "transformation".The public sector is the most transformed, private sector lagging badly.
And what have the anc done to improve Eskom? No, majority of South Africans where not being served by Eskom before 94. It is only under the ANC that it truly became a national SOE.
Probably got tired of this shithole.
Early retirement?
Probably getting out before the courier hijackings get worse.
Wonder if Kim stepped down out of her own will.

Takealot has announced that its founder and chief executive Kim Reid has transitioned to the new role of Group CEO of Takealot Group and will become chairman of the group during the course of 2021.
Once chairman, Takealot said Reid will work closely with the Group CEO and Naspers on the group’s next phase, stepping back from day-to-day operations to focus on initiatives that will deliver future value for the group.
“Reflecting on the last 10 years, we are at a unique point in our history where I am able to set the wheels in motion to pass operational responsibility to a Group CEO, and at the same time drive our commitment to transformation right from the top.
In addition to creating a new Group CEO position, and to support the transition, the group said it is further bolstering leadership with the creation of a new CEO position to lead the Takealot.com business.
What has the ANC done? Taken Eskom to the entire country including rural residents, thereby improving their lives immeasurably. The white government had a very easy job of serving only 10% of the population (using a very crude "they look like us" criteria) with Eskom. And what have the anc done to improve Eskom?
Spent trillions for nothing employed thousands when not required and stolen billions from the people only to be disfunctional
Take your head out your aZZh0le and realize what your own people are doing to you and everyone else.
They are screwing you just to enrich themselves.
Or are you too fvcking stupid and brainwashed to realize that.
Distribution is up, generation is down, way way way down. What has the ANC done? Taken Eskom to the entire country including rural residents, thereby improving their lives immeasurably. The white government had a very easy job of serving only 10% of the population (using a very crude "they look like us" criteria) with Eskom.
I was part of the 90% and we had power. Maybe we weren't 90% enough...What has the ANC done? Taken Eskom to the entire country including rural residents, thereby improving their lives immeasurably. The white government had a very easy job of serving only 10% of the population (using a very crude "they look like us" criteria) with Eskom.
He still owns the company, Dexter.Probably got tired of this shithole.
