Takealot launches Apple Store

Takealot has announced the launch of a dedicated area on its website for Apple products.

The retailer said the portal will list all its Apple products and accessories in one place and offer great prices.

It's a pity that it doesn't work properly. If you click on the relevant section headers you get partial product listings.

If they can properly get this going, iron out bugs, match or even beat iStore and Digicape on pricing and report accurate stock levels, then I'll rather use them for online purchases before using iStore or Digicape. I haven't had issues with Digicape before, but iStore online is a minefield when it comes to stock availability.

I was excited hoping this means they are replacing Core and doing their own thing.

Sadly not the case.

Putting all the too expensive stuff in one section that I can avoid...thanks for the usability update, Takealot.
