Takealot Problems

Hey guys,
Is there a Takealot rep on here that can maybe help me?

Iv been eyeing a olympus m.zuiko 17mm 1.8 lens for a while now, last week olympus dropped the price to $399 and while searching I found one at takealot on special for R4769. I ordered it but they shipped me the wrong item so i called and explained I need the correct item asap. They informed me that they need to collect the incorrect item before they can ship the item i ordered.

Then i get a call yesterday saying the item I ordered is out of stock and they have issued a refund, which i was shocked to hear as that's not what I asked or agreed to. They said the item is out of stock which i said I will gladly wait for but I want the Item i ordered.

Now i see the price has increased to R7789 and it is showing in stock.

Any one who can help on here? Anyone experienced anything similar with them?

Kalahari has been closed for the last 2 - 3 months already. When did you purchase the lense a date would be nice.

What you should have done is lodged a complaint on hellopeter, on forums and once stock arrived you do the exchange the same day the driver drops of your goodies.

The price probably displayed on the website was for the incorrect item. This normally happens
 
I took to twitter last week as a Unisa book i was buying increased from R500 to R2200 or something in that range, after querying they lowered their price to just under R700 but i see the price is now 70% off so it will return to 2k very soon.
 
I placed the order last week mon, the 6th.

they said they cant do a swap i must return the incorrect item first
