Takealot scan to pay refund, Money missing?

I normally pay with scan to pay on takealot, I have been for years. These payments always confirmed instantly and orders get shipped quickly.

When you return a product the refund is normally done via eft, again no issues, money was always recieved.

From 28th may, takealot have been refunding scan to pay orders, via scan to pay reversals. This shows done on takealot side, but no money was recieved on my side.

Takealot says it was done, nothing more they can do. I thought the issue was unique to me , but I found another personal also waiting for refund to reflect.

Bank has done reversal on it for so long, but I have more than 1 order waiting refund, and seems might have to log a reversal with the bank for each one.

Anybody else having similar issues getting scan to pay order refunded?

I also use scan to pay, but have any return refunds added on my account as credit, not back to the payment source.

I found it a schlep to get refunds to source, for anything other than credit card payment.

Yeah same here, use be easy enough. Once the credit shows ,you can press refund credit button and they money gets paid via eft. Now they trying to do reversal via the scan to pay which on there side shows success, but money is Just missing.

I have been waiting 28 may, my friend a week.

So definitely some system problem with scan to pay reversals.

Hoping fnb manage get my money back

I see the takealot account is now blocked, this purchase fnb did temporary reverse the payment while the case was pending.

I dont see how I can loose the case, I have the credit note, proof of return being credited and them doing the refund. This was all send to fnb.

The refund just never showed up in account, which was done on the 28th of May.

What does FNB think has happened, what would the issue be specifically if it’s a scan to pay reversal vs a normal card reversal?
