I say again, it appears the thankyou code has been disabled....

Anyone use it successfully since 2pm today?
 
Looks like the code has been disabled due to abuse. People creating multiple accounts etc...

Can't say I didn't see it coming. R100 off adds up very quickly when hundreds and thousands of hit and run accounts are used

o well.. my order was just under R30 with ebs and the voucher :twisted:
 
Just did the VCPAY thing and bought a R100 voucher so that still works if anyone is needing a voucher

How many accounts do you've? That you know the voucher/campaign is disabled! The problem is when it is advertised on websites people will definitely take advantage of it, or there were a certain amount allowed thereafter goodbye disabled.

Follow this thread, sweetheart! I clearly stated that my wife could not use the thankyou code.
 
The code no longer works.

I think the code has a set limit for eg 3000 uses and not that they stopped it due to abuse.

I asked them on Twitter why the code wasn't working. They said people were registering multiple accounts and abusing the voucher. So in accord with their T&Cs they disabled it.

Difficult to stop that happening everytime. As the economy gets tighter and people become under more financial pressure, they will do whatever they can to get more for less. Case in point: how many people go for nappies when a voucher appears because they are a grudge purchase and a voucher eases the pain.

I've learnt the hard way too many times, dive in or lose out.

I'm wait for the day they start requesting proper idnumbers linked to accounts to stop this **** from happening. What the hell happened to decency? People should be grateful for the R100 off and refrain from abusing t&cs
 
New code on the app for new customers

R50 off R250 - Spring50
Expires 30 September 2015

Edit: it appears that the code can be applied to any account not limited to new customers

That's BS though. I actually have the Eskom Se Push app and it gave me that voucher. Now when I tried to use it it says it's not valid. Really bad service. :mad:

I did bring this to their attention to authenticate each user by means of verifying email address and sending out a One time password to the user..If the user authenticates his or her mobile number it's linked to an account. Problem solved.

Truthful answer the voucher received too much exposure. Example a game over 300 copies available only one left, As of yesterday you couldn't buy strictly airtime.
 
What do they mean by new customer or is it just that it must be used on the app?
