I was invited by email around the 20th of September I made a purchase and paid via the masterpass app for the first time...no voucher I was so dissapointed still am ...they referred me back and forth through emails this and that....all Capitec continually says is read all the terms....
Ok ....but why dont they have the decency to inform us its over as it ends on 31st October....but says first come first served ....seriously so misleading

I would really like to report them for "false advertising""misleading" because the Ad is still bold and beautiful .....but at the moment ASA ....is down .......when I pay for something from a legitimate company I expect what im offered not to be entered into a raffle draw.....let those terms be just as bold ....dont find legal ways to term"scam" or "raffle"

Only reason I gave it a try was because it was on the first or 2nd day of the promo.

You wins some you lose some.
 
They say while stocks last but don't say how much "stock" they have. I say just cancel the order.
 
Master pass was working and I got my code on Monday too so make sure you are doing it right. Your capitec card has to be activated for online purchases you can check this by selecting the card tab on the app. If it shows activate online purchase then it's not yet done instead of it says activation instructions its ready.
Then you need to download masterpass app and scan or enter your capitec card details. Don't forget to fill billing and delivery address incl mobile number, that's where the code will be delivered.
Finally in the takealot website not app select something worth 300 rand and during the check out process select masterpass as payment method it will process and a QR code will be shown on screen, now open the masterpass app to scan this QR code and enter your capitec card pin to complete the purchase. The code comes through to your mobile number in the masterpass app immediately.
I have tried it works provided you have never used Masterpass to pay before on takealot

Yeah just followed the procedure exactly as you said and got my unique takealot R300 voucher sms'd to me as soon as I scanned the qr code on the TA website and entered my pin for the payment. In the sms it states that the voucher is valid until 31 December 2018 although the promotion ends 31 October 2018.

People must just make sure they add their capitec card to the masterpass app - other bank's cards can also be added but wont give you the voucher.

I guess the R300 masterpass can't be stacked with the current SPARJHB150 either?

I used it today so it is definately not a stock issue. Did you follow the procedure @citizensa mentioned above?
