Taking on Telkom

I think RPM is the person behind the other guy.

In a country whose national sport is Telkom bashing, Muller and his followers represent a group of South African telecoms users who aren't sitting back and simply accepting the Telkom company line and those of other broadband providers.

And in retrospect I'm personally happy that forumites gave Telkodemonopolies the middle finger & told the beast to bog-off with its false advertising :p - even though I was open to the idea of reclaiming some money from the beast to fund the enormous local hosting [bandwidth] fees :o.

Can't remember what my position was at the time. Amazing the perspective one gets with hindsight, hey? I remember it seeming like a difficult issue at the time, but now there's no question that rejecting Telkom's advertising offer was definitely the best decision for MyADSL.

I was also quite looking forward to the possibility of reporting every single Telkodemonopolies advert to ASASA as a result of the beast's false & misleading advertising :D.
