I just remembered a tamagotchi cheat I used to use at school

Find out at what time your time your Tama wakes up (normally at 9:00 am). Set the clock to one minute before that. Wait a minute and it will be a year older (this doesn't effect when your Tama dies). Then either do it again or set the time correctly.

And my fellow classmates wondered why I had a different grown tamagotchi daily
