Apologies for the heading and the previous post. There seems to be a bug.

Good day.

Any owners of Tank 300 Diesels on here? What are your opinions on this vehicle. Thinking of trading in my current vehicle (Next Gen Ford Ranger) for the Tank 300 Diesel. Any issues on the Tank and how is GWM reliability in general?

I test drove the Tank 300 diesel and it was very comfortable and the quality seems to be good, But just wanted to ask opinions of owners who have driven them a longer time.

A fellow in Robertson bought a GWM Tank. Its robust alright and gives him 18 litres/100km. His Toyota Hi-Lux did 12l/100km
He thinks it is a bit over-engineered

My question relates to whether anyone could give advice and/opinions on the GWM tank 300 diesel? I currently drive a Next gen Ford Ranger and I am considering trading it in for the Tank 300 diesel. Is this a good trade? Any issues I should be aware of with the Tank?

Why do you want to make the change?
What kind of diesel engine does the tank have in it?
 
A good friend in Robertson has one
Well built and sturdy, quite a few gadgets
Uses quite a bit more fuel than his Toyota 2.2 litre Hi-Lux

Is the Tank 300 a diesel, petrol, or petrol hybrid. I heard that the HEV is a bit heavy on gas. I saw a Cars (IIRC) and they thought the Tank 300 diesel was quite good.

I think the new Isuzu M-UX is nice. I do see ample GWMs around.

I don't know whether to trust reviews anymore. Brands are pouring money into receiving positive reviews.

Its got a 7 year 200 000 km warranty, just do it!

GWM also 107 dealers in SA, so you covered there also.

It’s not the warranty he has to worry about it’s the fuel consumption bankrupting him
