I also noticed the links - rather douchey on their part. I emailed them to request that the column to the left of every message be narrowed, and they added me to their mailing list. Had to unsubscribe from their Tapatalk 4 adverts.

The old one did it too. All links took you to a Tapatalk address first, same as Google search does.

Tapatalk is my most used app. I noticed the link harvesting immediately with Tapatalk 4. I'm pretty sure I'd have noticed it with the old app if it was present.

It's strange that you didn't, since I noticed it immediately when 2 came out. It would always go to some address with "tapatalk" in the name and immediately redirect to where you actually wanted to go.

Well it doesn't do it on my iPad nor the original version of tapatalk on my s3

I definitely didn't have that with Tapatalk 2. I have an S3 - maybe it's an iOS thing?

I had it on my S3 and my Nexus 7. Maybe it's only some versions, like Fudzy says only some version of 4 do it.

Just upgraded to the new "free" version of Tapatalk 2.0,

Doesn't seem too bad except for the color scheme - does anyone know how to change it? Makes it rather difficult to read

Very much so. It took me a day to adjust, but there's no going back when you do. Notifications that actually work is also nice.

Just don't use it on a tablet for now. It looks nice and all but there's no option to delete posts for some reason, which the phone version has. If you install it on the phone, you get version 1.4.3, but on tablets, the same item in the market is 1.4.0
