Bought it...and once I found the participated tab on the left I was happy :)

Also the link harvesting was present on TT2 for me at least on my SII.

I like it.

I wish they just had a more compact view as well. The spacing is slightly off for me at the moment.

OK, really starting to like it now. I think it is really worth it!

Even though subsequent posts don't appear as compact, this is mitigated by choosing text size as small from settings. Larger posts are easier read on this version too, can't put my finger on why... I think those larger posts by themselves actually appear more compact.

I find the app to be faster and more responsive, especially when opening threads and posting. I had the occasional error with version 2 and so far none with version 4.

Youtube videos open up landscape and full screen, and you still have the option to reduce 'hq' quality. This is brilliant.

The screen when writing new posts is cleaner.

Naviagting between various sections, whether they be new unread threads, subscribed, or previously participated threads, is fast!

I think there are more notification options as well. I particularly like the option for notification if you are mentioned/quoted, or when someone pm's you.

Those are the main points I am picking up on now...

I bought it last night and tried it for a few minutes before refunding within the 15 minutes time frame. It seemed slow and crashed for absolutely no reason.

Version 2 works pretty well, except for loading times being quite long when using 3G, even when websites load really fast.

I'm surprised the general feeling is positive. Maybe I didn't give it enough time?

Most people have indicated that it's something that grows on you, so I wouldn't have opted for a refund. Especially not when it's only a dollar. I'm loving the new Tapatalk. It took about a day to get to grips with properly.

My version 2 started crashing, but I think it could be due to it perhaps it not being as well supported on the newer builds of Android 4.2.2 (I run custom ROMs). Vivo, what version of Android are you running?

4.2.2 on S4. Stock rom.

Maybe I should get it anyway, I guess they'll iron out the bugs eventually.

I find it doesn't go to the first unread post even though that option has been selected. It did the same during the beta phase.

I've been running 4.2.2 for months now on my S3 and Tapatalk 2 has never been unstable.

I think it might be forum dependant. The feature works perfectly on some forums for me and poorly or not at all on others.

Same here. Started crashing a few months ago several times a day. In fact it crashed as I tried to quote you.

So I've bought 4 and busy downloading. Will try tweak it and get used to it ...

Next post from 4.

Any way to reduce all the white space?

I was just a bit dissapointed that I paid for v2 two years ago, then had to pay for v4. Not a lot of money but still.

None of the 4 views work like the 2 Latest/All. Going back to 2 until they fix 4.

I don't mind paying a dollar for the new Tapatalk, as it is quite a drastic overhaul and the devs need a profit motive to keep innovating. What I do bloody mind is being added to a Tapatalk spam mailing list instead of receiving a proper response from the dev after I sent an email requesting that they reduce the width of the column to the left of every message.

That sucks ass

Odd, the new tt4 was previously just called TT hd. Bought it right after their beta test, now I see they gave it the new name

Well Tapatalk on my iPad has just been replaced with Tapatalk Community.
