Tapatalk alternative

The pro version vs Tapatalk is a bit confusing I'm using pro and it looks just like the above
 
I'm still using the original 2.4.15. Can't stand the redesign from a few years ago.
 
I've ironically started using Tapatalk for the first time now.

Is there any way to see normal forum view, like all sections, same as when you land on the forum landing page on the web? Don't seem to be able to find it, but surely it must be there.

In the new version tap the logo top left and select browse.

Weird, I don't have that option, when I do that, it only brings up a dropdown with "Popular Subforums", which doesn't list nearly all of the subforums.

On a Galaxy S5, if that makes any difference.
 
This app has been ruined. Hate it! Absolutely hate it! Can't downgrade! I need an alternative now!
 
They did away with the "browse" function/button so Tapatalk is now useless

Ah, that explains it. It probably explains the creation of this thread as well.

So, what kind of dumbass developer would think it's a good idea to disable the ability to, erm, browse a forum on a forum app?

They dumbed it down for the average 10 year old and Apple user.

Anyway the Pro version still works as before if you're willing to fork out a few bucks. It's cheap but it's not something we should have to pay for...
 
One ia the good ol' browse function that mybb has and tapatalk used to have.

An the other is normal tapatalk that now does not have it anymore.

Tapatalk pro has been discontinued on apple App Store. Cannot buy it. Looks like we are stuck with the crappy free version. I have tried to submit a negative review but it's doesn't seem to go through.

I think it takes time to process.
 
Gave it a single star rating, and mentioned in my comment that I would give it half a star if I was able to.

Looking down the list of the most recent reviews, nobody is impressed - 1 or 2 star ratings only.
