Tapatalk

Also removed it. Uses more space with less threads displayed. Notifies you when you are quoted (guess you could turn it off).

Yes, uses way too much space & I actually prefer the font layouts of the current Tapatalk.

Looks sexy!

Not the right thread but did not want to start a new one just for this question in regards to Tapatalk.

Is there a way to exclude certain threads from the timeline? There are many threads in which I'm not interested in and or do not follow and it would be nice if one could sort of 'hide' them or prevent them from displaying in the timeline. Will make it much easier to go through those threads I'm actually following.

If not then I guess the next best thing is to subscribe to those I want to see and follow them under subscriptions or do anybody have any other suggestions?

New version sucks balls. I don't mind change but not unnecessary change. Seems I'm not the only one.

Time to update.
I had the same thing the past few days with my V4.1 of tapatalk.
I really didn't want to update the app.
Bit the bullet, updated. It's ****. Wish I could go back.

No, on Tapatalk now. Wipe data and login again?
FFS do you have to image quote like that?

Just roll with it - you'll get used to it quickly enough (until they change it again :crylaugh: )

Any way to disable auto image loading? Old version didn't auto-load images until you clicked them. Can't find a setting anywhere.

I have cheap mobile data and can afford to be an a-hole.

What is wrong with quoting images? (serious question, as I'm on Tapatalk and don't see the issue)

On mobile data you can, but not wifi AFAIK.

Edit: Profile section/Menu (3 dots)/Cellular connection preferences

Makes it inefficient to read
I can live with that reason.

On second read, I notice I was the first responder after the quoted post. That makes it unnecessary as well as inefficient.

I thought it was just me. Didn't login till I downloaded the Mybb app. Not a fan of this new tapatalk. Prefer the old one I'm using. Tapatalk pro version 4.6.2

Remember to check out the Auto follow section under settings. Tapatalk let you auto follow anyone you reply or interact with. You might not want to "follow" people you don't agree with.

The fact that it defaults auto subscribe and auto follow

Finally got it back to usable again after changing a bunch of settings in the app then logging into tapatalk.com to clear all the "unread" pm's (still no idea what these were), all the unread subscribed and notifications.

I also ended up having to manually unsubscribe a bunch of stuff it subscribed me to before I realised it is doing this auto crap.

Now my biggest gripe is that if there are updates to a subscribed thread it sends you a notification for each one and then you have to go open each notification to get your subscribed back to a 0 at the top.
