Tata Likely To Bid?

hrm.. with the whole competition thing, i wonder if Telkom will cry foul if they loose the bid.
 
For anyone wondering. The bid they are referring to is the BCX bid that Telkom was looking set too aquire.

Let's hope TATA is sucessfull.

If I were BCX I wouldn't consider Tata. I mean really is BCX so desparate that they will go for anybody who has a big cheque book? Tata shouldn't bite more than they can chew now. They should make the SNOT thing work before anybody in SA takes them seriuos! And by the way I'm not necessarily pro Telscum, I'm merely saying BCX should be responsible in their dealings and exercise caution.

What!!?? I say go for it! We should encourage this as much as possible, the more that Telkom is forced to start fighting for its survival the better. They have to learn that it's time to start putting the customer before profits if they want to survive. We've been baying for competition (and Telkoms blood) and when it finally arrives we take a step back and decide to be cautious? Our situation cannot get any worse, plain and simple, no-one is going to spend Billions of Rands on a venture that they think they might not be able to pull off! Go Tata, even if your bakkies aren't so hot :p !!!
