Eish sorry pit... I'm going to sars tomorrow personally to do the filing

To make matters worse, I can't get even 3 numbers on the national lottery draw. But me the FK face is the lucky bastard to get selected for an Audit 2 years in a row......

I must be the unluckiest man alive :(

This seriously sucks. I have all the Docs is the bloody slep that goes with this audit /cry.

what does an audit entail?

Need to submit all supporting documents and they are then run through manually by a TAX accountant from SARS with a fine tooth comb. This dude will prob go through 1000's of audits and mine will be at the bottom again. Last year it took a good couple of months from submitting my documents.

What pisses me off is that everyone around the office got their back already within 3 days of filling. They are already bragging about what they are going to do with their money :( And now I need to wait....... AGAIN!

anyone know what to do when your company failed to submit IRP5's to sars?
Efiling is not pre-populated, and I cant manually complete the form because i dont have a copy myself.
I have tried complaining to management/hr, but it has fallen on deaf ears.
Anyone else had experience with this? Id like to file asap so i can get mybucks back.

Nope sorry.

Mine was completed already I just had to add the "Extras" like medical aid expenses and so forth.

I have no idea where to direct you mate...

Okay so they check out all the paperwork, all be it very very carefully. For some reason i thought they interview you and grill you about why you put what down on your return. Kind like a police interrogation.

Yours already done? :|

Yea, you where in the same boat last year :D Good luck I guess :p

Submitted on Thursday, got this horrible news just before I started this thread

I'm still pretty pissed off, I had plans for that money :D Now I'll have to put it off for a few more months.... Wait till the wife hears this :o

How much did you claim if I may ask? Iirc there's an automatic audit threshold beyond a certain amount claimed - but it changes from year to year. Aside from the normal point accrual system.
