tax return 2011

Hello! Hmm ok thank you! But howcome it says that its been assessed and that im owed money in some of the forms? Like the one form says assessed and due to you or something. And the due to me amount isnt even big at all :(. Oh, and how long did that take - i mean to get paid etc? This is now the second time I got audited.

It looks like I was kicked for audit with an earning on my 32 day account.

How stupid can I be?
I have been checking my status every damn day only to notice now it's only saved and not submitted /facepalm

I feel like a damn retard now :cry:
 
LOL!! Don't worry - I also have no clue as to what is going on with mine. All of a sudden all these blocks came up this year, like documents and assessment letters and stuff, but im calling Celine, she is going to help me.
 
Once SARS has paid the money into your bank account... they can't ask for it back can they ??

They can if they discover a mistake - or you claimed for something you shouldn't have, etc

I think they can, thats why you still have to keep your docs for 5 years... Celine should be able to answer...

well i dont know then :/ hope i did it right... cause got a lot back, and dont want to have to pay them back on monday :p
 
if they've done an audit then it should be fine, the auditor has checked that everything is in order. it's when the money goes into your bank and then they do an audit and they find something untoward, they can ask for the money back.
 
Logged into internet banking this morning to do my monthly payments... and it was there... finally :)
 
also just got my refund that was delayed due to the whole bank detail verification :D

well if i had to submit documents and all that then surely they do the audit before paying ? I just dont want to spend it, then get told to pay it back :)

cause it took them like 8 days from submitting the docs to pay

Nah.... I wouldn't stress..... mine was also quite high and the audit was done in under a week and payment took another week.

It was submitted as soon as it was uploaded. They can take a month I don't care, as long as I get that money. I need it to add another SATA DVD-RW to my PC.
 
No change on e-filing after I submitted my docs almost 2 weeks ago. I phone SARS, all they say is they received the docs. They can't say at what stage of the checks they are or how long it will take to complete.
