Just because I don't support your suggestion that all taxi drivers must all die and that all taxis must be taken off our roads doesn't mean that I am in some way affiliated with the taxi industry. I was once a taxi commuter and I used it to travel to and from work and I know first hand that taxis are doing a great service to the country in as far as transporting people (who don't earn enough for a car) to and from their respective destinations.

I also know first hand how annoying taxi drivers can be, I get cut off by a taxi once in a while, I once almost got involved in an accident with a taxi because he thinks that he owns the road and he drove while the light was red and I almost crashed into him. Believe you me he made me very cross and I was angry and I though of chasing him with my car and beat the crap out of him. But at the and of the day, he's doing it because he gets away with it.

But I am not going to say that he must die and that his taxi must be taken off the road beause I know that he is helping our economy function ina way and he is helping to minimise traffic on our raods by transporting 15 or so passengers. Think about it, what do you think our roads will look like if 70% of this country's workforce who use taxis on a daily basis suddenly can afford a car and they all buy cars, do you really think our roads will be ok?

I really don't understand why you would preach total hatred and death towards all taxis if the majority of what they do is to annoy you or cut in front of you, obviously some taxi drivers drive in a way that cause accidents and then have people die. There are a lot of passenger car drivers who drive like maniacs and endanger people's lives, should all passenger car drivers die just because of the select few?

Because you are judging someone solely on what their occupation is, now I would just like to show you what it is like to judge the people. I also hate taxi drivers that drive like *******s and yes I know that 75% of them do, but actually loving the idee of someone kid/brother/uncle/father/cousin being hurt/killed without knowing if he is one of that 75% is really on par with Julius' mentality.

I pity you because just like the reckless drivers you so despise you show no compassion nor humanity, thus you are no better than them.

Sly21C read my previous posts, I clearly state I do NOT care if all the taxi drivers die or are taken off the road...... I to was a taxi commuter for 3 years, so I am well versed in the art of driving in those make shift donket carts. I was involved in an accident caused by a taxi driver, he jumped the robots and another car slammed into the taxi luckily I was sitting by the door of the taxi and was cushioned by a "mama" the passenger sitting by the window however was critical. I am tired of the the taxi drivers and the "taxi mob" thinking they can drive how they like... Worse than that it doesn't stop at them driving like baboons with a death wish, it also continues when they are excluded from government sanctioned activities like BRT. They than Toi Toi in the streets and throw rocks at the people that do have enough money to drive a car? All I am saying is these people go TOO far!

A "girl" was killed, or is it girls? Do girls riding on scooters get killed each and every day by taxi drivers?
