i'm curious, what did this person do to deserve this besides being a taxi driver? i haven't read the news.

Depending on whether you believe the stats or not, it seems he put the lives of 75% of the workforce in jeopardy, I scored a free taxi coupon and a make-up kit, and the marie biscuits were picked on.

:D i shouldn't smile, i think we're becoming seriously desensitized to these kind of things. we still see them as impersonal villains when they have families, lives, friends. imagine what they would think if they had to read this forum, and here some people are saying he deserved it, and for what?

people that start discussions like this for anything but discussion is cruel.

I see, the "good" taxi drivers don't deserve to die while the "bad" taxi drivers deserve to die, even though the worse thing that the "bad" taxi driver did was to cut right in front of you or annoy you on the road, so are you saying all "bad" taxi drivers that cut in front of passenger cas should all die?

What about the ones that drive in the opposing traffic lane on Lever road because they can't wait like the rest of us or the 2 that have killed to school kids on my area over the past few years? Can they all die?

wow, u used my humorous comment to try make urself look smart. Congrats...

Like I said mate don't feed the trolls :) Obviously he is of great intelligence and who are we to doubt his great wisdom?

He wants a reaction because then he can deflect from the issue and the point.

On a serious note the taxi industry has tried its utmost best to try and stop the development of other transport systems.

IMO they are the largest organised crime network in SA.

I agree most are thugs and crooks but without them 60% of our workers force would not get to work. Also the problem with busses and trains is upkeep, which is non-existent in africa.

What about the passenger car driver who drank a bit too much to drive who drove into my sister's car last year and injured her arm and severely damaged her car? What about those passenger car drivers who constantly drive over the speed limit and endanger other road user's lives? What about truck drivers who drive those trucks as if it's a passenger car and overtake without being considerate of other road users? Must they all die?
