As the title says: I can not connect to teamviewer with any 3G apple device (i have an ipad and iphone which is tethered to my laptop)(don't have a normal dongle to check)

It might just be the Iphone APN which is still damn frustrating since 2 weeks ago it was working perfectly but now all of a sudden it wont connect AT ALL!

Can someone please help?

Thanks :)

edit: i can not even connect to the teamviewer website from my ipad or iphone, though i can connect with my adsl line. I must admit that this is a big headache because i need to do things remotely and just can't because of vodacom.

/i also used the default apn on my ipad, all sites load perfectly except for teamviewer...

So, when you default...do you mean the "internet" APN?

Hi,

Sometimes these sharing protocols are "shaped" on the network Its best to call and check if you are being shaped.
Like sometimes I know MTN does not allow VIP access on their network...

To my knowledge Vodacom does not shape.

I wonder if the "unrestricted" APN might help. There was a thread on here that instructed how to get this APN activated. iirc you have to sign a indemnity form to have it done.

I have just tested the teamviewer website on one of our 3G sticks here...Windoze 7 machine and IE that comes with it. Works perfectly fine.
