Tech deals this weekend (20 March 2014)

The Onkyo + Jamo bundle looks pretty decent actually...

Awesome ... happened to pass by some of these deals this afternoon.
Idiots didn't put the Asus T100 model number on the display info so stood there, not sure where this thing before me fit in (duuuh).

All I can say is the display on that Asus blew me away... knew it was supposed to be good from the reviews I saw but maaan, what an awesome little device. And the thing is really snappy. Problem is the 32GB eMMC storage, I think there was like 13GB left with a clean Windows 8.1 install... I wonder if a decent rated MicroSD card can make up for it...?

must-not-give-in-must-not-give-in-must-not-give-in-must-not-give-in-must-not-give-in!

The Polaroid induction speaker at Makro for R129 is a noteworthy gadget.

The Seagate 3TB external HDD is a great deal. Anybody that thinks to use it even in USB 2.0 ports will be surprised at the amazing performance and capacity and at this price you will not find a better deal. I bought this same drive last year at Makro when it came bundled with AVG Internet Security for R1,300.

The thing that I discovered is that when a drive states USB 3.0 support together with USB 2.0 backwards compatibility, the drive will always perform better on a USB 2.0 port than the "legacy" USB 2.0 devices. Using it on my WiFi home network as extra storage and I couldn't be happier with it. :)

Why would you happily pay 700pm for access then worry about financing a decoder?

Simple....I Budget budget budget budget budget...

You're obviously doing something wrong then, no offence. If you don't have immediate access to such a low amount of cash, then you probably shouldn't be spending R700pm on DSTV. But hey, it's your money :)

I do this with most things I have. Instead of paying cash 1 item and then wait couple of weeks/months to purchase the next item I want, I'm able to have 2-5 items at the same time... depending of prices of these items ofcourse...., Ja boet.... that's how I roll.
