TechCentral ejected from Icasa meeting

wow, that does wonder's for ICASA's credibility and commitment to transparency, transformation and truth!

Another epic ICASA fail... in a long line of truly staggering failures.

but I thought that Telkom was also not invited?
 
well ISPA is still there and I have a reasonable amount of faith in those guys to keep consumer interests at heart.
 
No, ICASA should have had the balls to stand up to MTN and say "why are you scared of a bit of media coverage? What do you have to hide?"

The fact that they did not have the balls to do that means that nothing will come of the meeting either.
 
As I said the meeting is about who gets which BMW model or Merc model.. ;) Lets face it ICASA are useless at protecting the consumers in SA.
 
Premature ejection seems to be another ICASA affliction. Just another one in a long list of problems (brick-wall-syndrome, unethical, incompetency, etc).
 
MTN's objection must surely conclude any delusions people had that this was more than a you-scratch-my-back-I-scratch-yours meeting.

ICASA and the DoC haven't done a single thing to help this industry in 15 years. It is madness to expect change.
 
It is really cool that Duncan tried to gain access to the meeting. It would have been great to hear exactly what was discussed and what the various parties had to say. Not certain what the ICASA press statement will look like, but I am not holding my breath.

a press statement from ICASA with sweet nothings would actually be a welcome change..

So far all we've seen from them is sweet FA.

I don't care for sweet nothings, sweet FA or sweet whatever.

They should get off their backs and start doing their work.
 
What they hey? Since when is MyBB allowing other people to get one up on the activism? Why didn't MyBB have people that were ejected from the meeting? Is tech central going to steal MyBB's place??
