Tectonic relaunches website

This is great news and well done Alastair.

Good news is that Alastair will still be writing for MyBroadband – so expect to get your weekly dose of Linux, Open Source and software news from MyBroadband :)

Pity that Opensource is still targeted mainly for the Linux community. 100% of my software (Except for Windows XP itself) is based on Open Source Software. Tortoise SVN, Open Office, Sharp Develop, VLC, Pidgin to name but a few, not to mention all the open source (nHibernate, nAnt, nUnit) components I use in my C# programming.

Err, surely you've just rattled off a list that disproved your entire point?

Almost all the really big OSS projects have Windows ports, none of the major OSS languages are Linux specific. Amarok which was exclusively KDE has a Windows port available (or one in the works, I'm not sure), even Mono, the OSS implementation of .net runs on Windows if you wanted it to.
